Chickpea Omelette

Golden-brown chickpea omelette on a white plate, filled with fresh herbs and a side salad.

Ingredients: (Makes 2 of this size)

  • 3/4 cup chickpea flour (besan)

  • 3/4 cup milk sub

  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tsp nutritional yeast

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

  • 1/4 tsp bicarb

  • Pinch of salt


  1. Mix batter together then over medium heat.

  2. Add batter until it starts to bubble and look set.

  3. Add filings and gently fold in half.

  4. Leave for another minute or then remove from pan and serve.
